Here at CD Whyte Ridge Pharmacy Specialty Compounding & Wellness Centre we believe in a team approach to maximize our effectiveness and service. By emphasizing a personal level of contact with our patients and by practicing an all-inclusive approach to health we attempt to make sure our patients live better lives. Our store consists of 6 pharmacists supported by 7 other staff members and we look forward to helping you!


Dennis Wong, B.Sc. (Pharm.), FAARFM, CCN, ABAAHP

Owner, Consultant Pharmacist
I graduated from University of Manitoba, Faculty of Pharmacy in 1990 and have been working in community practice ever since. In 2004 I received the Bonnie Schultz Memorial Award for Practice Excellence in Patient Care awarded by the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association. I have also received the 2009 Wyeth Apothecary Award for Manitoba in recognition of my professional achievement through advanced learning.
I have received specialty training in Customized Compounding, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Pain Management, Nutrition, Dermatology, and Functional Endocrinology from the Professional Compounding Centre of America (PCCA). In addition I have completed the Palliative Care course offered by the Learning Centre for Palliative Care of the Victoria Hospice Society. More recently I have completed a Fellowship in Anti-Aging , Regenerative and Functional Medicine (FAARFM) and have passed the Anti-Aging board exam. I am also certified as Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) through Clinical Nutrition Certification Board (CNCB) and hold Diplomat certification with American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners (ABAAHP). I am currently enrolled in Functional Medicine Certification Program provided by Institute for Functional Medicine and Master degree program in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine with University of South FLorida, School of Medicine.




Cindy Yap-Wong, B.Sc. (Pharm.), CCN

Owner, Pharmacist
I graduated from University of Manitoba, Faculty of Pharmacy in 1990 and since then I have been working in community practice. I have taken specialty training in Customized Compounding, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, Nutrition and Dermatology from the Professional Compounding Centre of America (PCCA).
I also received my certification as a Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) through Clinical Nutrition Certification Board (CNCB).




Bev Eros, B.Sc. (Pharm.)

Staff Pharmacist
I graduated from University of Manitoba, Faculty of Pharmacy in 1979. Since then I have worked in community practice, joining CD Whyte Ridge Pharmacy in 2005. I received training in Customized Compounding from the Professional Compounding Center of America (PCCA) in 2005. I have recently recieved training in Advanced Female Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy by ZRT Laboratory Continuing Education Conference.




Garth Yelland, B.Sc. (Pharm.)

I graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Pharmacy, attaining the Dean's Honor list each year. I continued my education by successfully completing the Pharmacy Residency Program at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
I have a professional interest in Palliative Care and Pain Management and have completed the Palliative Care course offered by the Learning Centre for Palliative Care of the Victoria Hospice Society. I have also received training in the preparation of Customized Compounding, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Pain Management and Nutrition by the Professional Compounding Centre of America (PCCA). Recently, I have recieved training in Advanced Female Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy by ZRT Labortory Continuing Education Conference.
Currently I am focusing on the study of Functional Medicine and Natural Therapy.
